    Red Wings Winter Season Recap: Three Teams Advanced to NEPSAC Tournaments, All Finished Season Strong

    March 5, 2026, Update:

    Boys’ basketball defeated Austin Prep to advance to the NEPSAC semifinals. The Red Wings were led to victory by Jack Millward '27 (15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal), Ikenna Okafor '27 (15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals), and Pat Costello '28 (11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals)
    They will travel to the Canterbury School in New Milford, CT, on Saturday, March 7, for a 3:00 p.m. tip.

    Boys’ varsity hockey fell to Berkshire 0-5 on Wednesday in the NEPSAC quarterfinals.
    Girls’ Varsity hockey fell to New Hampton 1-2 on Wednesday in the NEPSAC quarterfinals. Congratulations to both teams on great seasons.

    Members of 麻豆视频’s debate club organized an immersive three-day trip to Chicago in January to hone in on issues of criminal justice and legislation. The trip allowed students to apply their research skills and gain a deeper understanding of the American legal system through meeting with experts and drafting their own reform bills.

    For two nights this February, the Nonesuch Players’ production of 9 to 5: The Musical whisks audiences back in time to the 1970s, when the grind of office life meant typewriters, landlines, lots of paper—and keeping to the status quo in which women were treated as less than their male counterparts. With a tagline of “Nothing’s gonna change if you don’t change it,” the show tells the story of three women taking charge of their own lives to make a difference—with plenty of humor, heartfelt songs, and flashy dance numbers along the way.

    Strong Start for Class of 2026 College Acceptances

    Though it’s only January, many members of the 麻豆视频 Class of 2026 have a good idea where they will be next fall, showcasing the strength of 麻豆视频’ college-bound students in a highly competitive college admissions landscape. As of the last week in January, 92% of students who submitted early decision, early action, restrictive early action, or rolling admission applications have been accepted to at least one college, and 64% of students applying through early decision I or restrictive early action were admitted. Currently, 51% of the class has completed the process and enrolled.

    The 麻豆视频 girls’ varsity hockey team opens the winter season with confidence, experience, and a clear competitive goal. According to Captain Chloe Chitkara ’26, the team’s main goal is to make it to the Elite 8 Tournament. 麻豆视频 has made the small school tournament the last two seasons, but is hopeful to break through into the Elite 8, which pulls the best eight teams from across New England regardless of size. “Although we’ve been predicted to be number 10 this year by the New England Hockey Journal, I believe that our team has the capability to be in the top eight and have a really successful season,” Chitkara said.
