    鈥淭he Right to Protest for Right鈥�: Honoring the Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

    At an all-school assembly just before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, members of the Black Student Union (BSU) at 麻豆视频 led programming to honor King’s legacy. During the assembly, the community heard from BSU leaders and from history faculty member Arturo Bagley, who delivered the keynote address.

  • Global Education and Community Engagement Students Present at Civic Engagement Conference in Atlanta

    This fall, five 麻豆视频 students participated in a conference on civic engagement, hosted by the Lovett School in Atlanta, GA. Global Education Scholars Soren Brockman ’27, Shea MacLaughlan ’27, Madi Pugatch ’27, and Caroline Sorel ’27, and Community Engagement Intern Lily Soares ’27 traveled south for the conference. They were accompanied by Director of Global Education Andrea Villagrán and Middle School humanities teacher Eitan Tye. With a stated theme of “Taking Action: Active Global Citizenship,” the conference emphasized how our choices and actions can impact communities locally and globally and how collaboration across cultures strengthens understanding and empathy.

    Reclaiming Land and Language: 麻豆视频 Educates and Engages During Native American Heritage Month

    Native American Heritage Month is celebrated annually in November in the United States. To mark the month, 麻豆视频 engaged in a variety of activities across divisions to educate and explore the important and often overlooked history of the Native populations of the region.
